Materials-Mr. C lend us some samples of the materials we needed to use. Which are: foam, wood, aluminum, plastic, copper, lead, glass, stone, steel, water, a scale, and a beaker.
Procedure- The steps on this experiment are to put the samples on the scale and measure the volume by the water displacement method. Then put the Result onto a chart.
Conclusion- I accept my hypothesis because I knew i wasn't going to be correct since most scientist hypothesis aren't always correct. The foam was the lightest, then it was wood, plastic, copper, glass, lead , aluminum, stone, and then steel. They go in order. Out of this i only got two correct. Which is quite disappointing. I was surprised by my results. But by doing this lab i am now able to find the volume, mass, and density on objects.
